In my previous essay, I said that Shiho is to simply "proves that Shikamaru can attract girls now". But when I read 407, I found that Shiho is not a normal pedestrian in this manga.

If she is not related to the story, why did she congested the whole 407 and she even blushed towards Shikamaru AGAIN? And what the hell happened that she is the cover page of 407 [link] (which Temari never got her personal cover page before!) And Kishimoto even wrote "My heart beats a lot when I meet that man" sth? Obviously, Shiho is not a pedestrian but is a character can affect the story! However, she is not a fighting ninja. What can she affect?

This is Kishimoto's plan - Nara Shikamaru's love storyline!

[Inference 1: Shiho will confess her love]
Shiho met Shikamaru for the 1st time in 406, but she already call Shikamaru's name "Shikamaru" (no san / kun......) straightly! But she calls Naruto as "Uzumaki-Kun"!

But when we read chapter 247's Shikamaru and Temari...
[link] Temari calls Shikamaru "This guy"
[link] Shikamaru calls Temari "This person"
*** Note that I've checked the Japanese raw manga to make sure this "calling" is right. I've read the English manga and I found that the translation is wrong. Shikamaru had never called Temari's name in his life, while Temari calls Shikamaru as "Nara" or "Nara Shikamaru".

This proves that Shiho will dare to confess her love towards Shikamaru in the future, isn't it?



[Inference 2: Shiho is not ugly.]
In comics, when a girl wears this kind of glasses, there is a theory:
1. She is a small eye ugly girl
2. She is a beauty
But when we take a look at this pic [link] we can find that she is not ugly. If she is not ugly, then is she a beauty? Or is she a "not ugly and not pretty woman" that fits for Shikamaru's wife request?



[Inference 3: Shiho is a tender woman that is not troublesome and scary]
Shikamaru dislike woman, he thinks that women are troublesome and annoying, because Sakura and Ino always screams "SASUKE~~~". [link]

But you can see, Shiho is not troublesome, not talkative, not annoying, she will never screams. [link] She just stands behind her love, and she even blushed when talking to Shikamaru (like Hinata?)



[Inference 4: Shiho is clever]
She is a decoder. She is clever. She is fit for our genius Shikamaru!

See? Shiho is not a pedestrian but TAILOR MADE for Shikamaru!

But because Shiho is too perfect for Shikamaru, that proves my theory again!
